The Fashion Foundations: Introduction to Fashion Design course teaches aspiring fashion designers the foundational skills of fulfilling concept briefs, fashion sketching and design. Throughout the lessons students will develop their skills and enthusiasm for design and basic sewing and cutting skills by producing sketched collections and moodboarding.

Practical: sewing samples

Final project- mood board with results from experimental design
Site visit to a fashion design studio for talk with industry leader.

NB:International students would have to travel into Dubai for their presentation and graduation to enable them acquire their certificate for this particular course.
